Unhealthy foods can weaken your pearly whites. Sugary sodas, sour sweets, and sticky candies are among the most deadly products for your teeth. This is because they contain acid and sugar, the latter of which bacteria in your mouth uses to make acid, which breaks down your enamel and leads to tooth decay. Snacking on these foods throughout the day will mean prolonged exposure. It’s good to avoid these foods, but if you are going to indulge, try and eat them with other nourishing foods to balance out the effects in your mouth.
